The School of Photography at Orange Coast College (Spencer’s Alma Mater) has decided to honor Spencer’s legacy by awarding a scholarship in his name. The “Spencer C Amonwatvorakul scholarship” will be awarded to one photography student at The School of Photography at OCC once a year. Spencer was significantly involved at school first as a student, then as a Lab aid, and finally as a mentor to students who were interested in pursuing a career in professional photography. Spencer was devoted to his craft, peers, and self-improvement. A scholarship in Spencer’s name will allow his profound influence on others to continue forever. In order for this scholarship to reach an “endowment” status, $15,000 must be raised. Once an endowment status is achieved, the Spencer C Amonwatvorakul scholarship will be a permanent scholarship. The School of Photography at OCC will match the collective contributions of $10,000.
How TO DONATE TO THE SCHOLARSHIP

Check the box that says “ONE TIME GIFT” and select the amount you’d like to donate.
Under “GIFT DESIGNATION” select “PHOTOGRAPHY”.
Under “SPECIFY ATHLETIC TEAM, SCHOLARSHIP or OTHER DESIGNATION” please type in “SPENCER C AMONWATVORAKUL SCHOLARSHIP” and click NEXT at the bottom of the page (The tribute section is optional and you do not need to fill out).
Fill out your contact information and click NEXT at the bottom of the page.
Double check your contact info and amount you will be donating and click NEXT on the bottom of the page.
Select Payment type and fill out payment and billing information and click PROCESS DONATION and you’re done.
